“Live” Reel

“The Shakespeare Concert”

“The Shakespeare Concert” is the highly praised new “live in the studio” album by Robert’s band, Project Grand Slam, featuring 15 of their greatest hits, played one after another concert style, with no overdubs or fixes. Exactly as-is.

The Backstory: In August 2021 Project Grand Slam played a benefit concert for Shakespeare & Co., a leading Shakespearean acting troupe, at their theater in Lenox, MA. The band was hot that night but unfortunately the venue had no recording equipment. So two months later Robert took the band into the recording studio to recreate the concert.

PRAISED BY FAMOUS MUSICIANS:

“Life has a few ‘good’ surprises... Robert Miller’s band was one for me!” Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad)

“This is music the way it should be played like a real flesh and blood rock band!” Jim Peterik (Ides of March, formerly of Survivor and of 38 Special fame)

“This is my kind of music - original, funky and in the pocket!” Joey Dee (“Peppermint Twist”)

“Helluva band!” Elliott Randall (Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers)

“Great songs with such variety and flow! Superbly accomplished musicians with a vibrant energy!" Sarah Class (Celebrated British composer)
