Chris Montez had three smash hits in the early 1960s: “Let’s Dance” in 1962 and “The More I See You” and “Call Me” in 1966. He performed on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand. He played the Apollo and Howard Theaters. He toured with Sam Cooke. He toured England where The Beatles were his opening act! Chris takes us through all his hits and tours and the stars that came along with them, and tells us how a $30 demo tape catapulted him to stardom. Plus a Songfest!
