Christie Dashiell - Grammy Nominated Vocalist And Composer. Jazz, R&B, Gospel Soul. Thelonious Monk Competition. Her Latest Album, "Journey In Black" - A "Masterpiece" (Downbeat)!
Christie Dashiell is a Grammy nominated vocalist and composer and she is really special. Her music touches upon jazz, R&B, gospel and soul. She’s got a beautiful, rich, clear tone. She was a semifinalist in the Thelonious Monk Institute’s International Vocals Competition. Her album, “Journey In Black”, was nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award and it was deemed a “Masterpiece” by Downbeat Magazine.
My featured song is my version of Thelonious Monk’s “Well, You Needn’t” from the album Miles Behind. Spotify link.
