Jim McCarty is the original drummer for The Yardbirds, one of the greatest bands of the British Invasion era of the 1960s. They had a string of hits including “For Your Love” and “Heartful Of Soul”. But the band is perhaps best known for having three of the greatest guitarists of the rock era in succession: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
