Howard Kaplan is the author of 6 books including “The Damascus Cover” which was made into a feature film starring Jonathan Rhys Meyer and Sir John Hurt in his final film role. Howard talks about how it took 10 years to make the film. His newest novel, “The Syrian Sunset”, is a gripping thriller about the Syrian war and how that tragedy ultimately led to Putin’s war in Ukraine. A fascinating discussion about Syria, movies, dictators and Ukraine!
