Freda Payne had a massive hit in 1970 with the song “Band Of Gold”. She went on to have a number of other hits, a film career, and even hosted her own TV talk show. We discuss all of this including her relationship with Berry Gordy, Motown, and the hit songwriting team of Holland-Dozier-Holland. And we do a Songfest too!
